Changing the Face of Breast Cancer

This handbook, is a retrospective of technique, case
study and original work derived from monthly expressive arts and
drama therapy workshops with breast cancer survivors, at South Coast
Medical Center, Laguna Beach. The book is organized on a continuum
from projective to confrontive media and details the women's experience
ranging from working with masks and puppets, to sculpting, psychodrama,
sociodrama, witnessing, transformational drama and alternative theatre
techniques. The book is a moving testament of healing and survivorship
as it follows the women on their journey through such issues as:
mortality, sexuality, identity, loss , anger, politics, in memoriam
