Aimee Greenberg performs
multiple roles as an actor, artist, writer, teacher and drama therapist.
She is an international presenter and has received numerous awards,
fellowships and grants for both original work and her work with
various populations, including cancer survivors.
Her performance work has been produced in the United
States, Europe, Russia and Japan. She has published various articles
on drama therapy, film and theatre. She is also a journalist and
a published author. Her writings include one book of poetry, one
novel, two screenplays and "Changing the Face of Breast Cancer,"
a handbook based on her work using the creative arts as a healing
tool with breast cancer survivors at South Coast Medical Center.
Education/Training: Masters
prepared drama therapist, Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre, film
and writing. RDT (Registered Drama Therapist) certification. Seven
years of professional conservatory theatre training in New York
City.
Awards and fellowships include:
the Irvine Health Foundation, Toshiba Corporation, Asian Cultural
Council Fellowship, Los Angeles Womens Foundation, Los Angeles
Endowment and Recovery Grant, Seattle Original Works, Washington
State Artist in Residence, Steele Case Foundation and the Susan
G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Community Grant.
